Need a little inspiration?

Check out this amazing 92-year old woman, Harriette Thompson of Charlotte, N.C., who ran her 16th marathon. And finished in just 7 hours, 24 minutes and 36 seconds! And…she started running marathons when she was 76!

Harriette Thompson, 92, and her son Brenny Thompson finish the Suja Rock 'n' Roll San Diego Marathon on May 31 in San Diego.

She runs for a good cause too! Thompson says she ran the marathon to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of family members who died of cancer, including her husband, who died in January. In fact, she has raised over $90,000 for the charity through her running. According to the article linked from NPR, Thompson herself had mouth cancer in 2013, so she didn’t run that year — the only year she has skipped the San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon since she started in 1999.

Watch her cross the finish line!

So…who’s inspired to run a race this summer??
